Using the raw material generated during the live subtitleing we want again to provide as much subtitles for the video recordings, as possible. As soon as we have finished subtitles for a talk, a *.srt file is provided, which can be used by most media players (often automatically, if in the same directory as the video file).
To create those subtitles, we rely – again – on the external tool amara.org. It's far from perfect and has some bugs/unwished features, but is still the best option we have at the moment (we tried some!).
At this time we're still working on a custom interface to handle the subtitling process of recorded videos. Please give us some time.
